The River Cities Youth Fishing Classic is open to kids aged 5 - 17. The catch and release tournament will begin Saturday April 11 and end Sunday April 12, 2026 at 1 pm. The tournament booth/ weigh station will be located along canal street between the pedestrian bridge and the outgoing bridge. All fish must be brought in live to the weigh station. The weigh station will be open 8am - 6pm Saturday (4/11/26) and 8am - 1pm on Sunday (4/12/26).
There will be a kickoff meeting at the tournament booth Friday 4/10/26 at 5:30pm. We will go over the rules of the tournament, provide advice on safe handling of fish, and give out tournament bags to participants.
